Like all other VSA products, the VR Line is built-to-order and handcrafted in the U.S.A. All loudspeakers in the VR line are floor standing designs that deliver full-range, reference sound quality.
Our current VR powered woofer design allows for greater flexibility and precise tuning options. This enables VR loudspeakers to work in smaller rooms than would normally be possible, yet still have enormous power potential to energize even the largest soundrooms with holographic imaging and tonal purity.

Featuring ceramic honeycomb woofers and midrange drivers along with a damped Beryllium dome tweeter, the measured distortion is less than 0.5% at normal listening levels. These drivers, when mounted in our Pat. Pending Triple Wall Laminate noise reducing cabinet, will reproduce the sonic tapestry with clarity and musicality that we have all been searching for. The VR-55 MkII represents over 40-years of our proprietary sound engineering!

The VR-55 MkII Special Edition builds on the award winning VR-55 MkII design while incorporating the highly refined midrange from our ULTRA Line of loudspeakers. While not sharing all the performance improvements of the ULTRA-55, the Special Edition offers greater resolution and musicality in the most important midrange frequencies at a significantly lower price point than the ULTRA-55. We’re confident this is the best performing loudspeaker regardless of manufacturer at its class.
